#007: fitzrovia, W1.

Natasha Zone shares her top recommendations for Fitzrovia, London W1, for postcode diaries.

With Mayfair, Soho and Regents Park on its doorstep, Fitzrovia is Central London's perfect neighbourhood haven.

Where to grab coffee:

"Kaffeine for sure, which we can see from our third floor window! From 6am until close, the tiny coffee shop is buzzing with trade from cyclists, locals, passersby and coffee lovers. Their Pasteis de Nata are also delicious, so take a seat on the little oak bench out front and enjoy one in the sunshine."

Natasha’s favourite place in town:

"Mortimer House. It’s both my office and my home away from home. Designed beautifully, complete with a stunning rooftop, a members club, a gym and a restaurant, there is little more I need. I also love Bar La Rampa for a Friday night, ready-for-the- weekend drink (plus their Cubanos sandwiches are ridiculously good). The London Edition hotel has been an all time favourite for years - it’s the high ceilings, the marble floors and the signature scent as you walk in that gets me every single time."

Fitzrovia’s best hidden gem:

"H.T. Harris, an institution which has been around forever. The focaccia sandwiches and fresh pasta are out of this world."
